VICON HD EXPRESS SYSTEM – Designed to Plug and Play

Plug and Play Installation
The NVR detects cameras plugged into the built-in PoE hub and automatically powers and configures the cameras for recording at 30fps in full 1080P resolution in a private network. There is no requirement for the installer to program any IP addresses. Live and recorded video footage is displayed via an attached 1080P HD monitor and manipulated through the HD Express on-screen GUI. The local display is real-time regardless of the number of HD Cameras.

Network diagnostic dashboard
A diagnostic screen shows users the type and status of each camera connected to the NVR as well as the connections to the local network. All remote connections are identified and can be managed from this unique tool for fault-finding and system configuration.

Direct configuration of cameras from NVR
Cameras can be programmed through the HD Express NVR user interface eliminating the need to individually configure each camera through the Camera’s web browser.

Remote Interface
Operators can remotely log into the HD Express using a tablet or smart phone. There is a web based interface that is optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer which provides additional capabilities such as remote exporting of video or changing configurations. The NVR can dynamically scale the resolution and frame rate of the video based on the bandwidth available on the remote connection.

Alarm Management
It is simple to manage camera contact relays, video motion detection, hard drive failures, video loss, and other alarms.

Simple Exporting of Video to USB
Operators can export to a USB drive JPEG images, standard AVI files, or a proprietary format with archive player that is designed specifically for security applications. The archive player will check a watermark embedded in the Video to confirm that the footage has not been altered.

Multi-Site Management Software
The HD Express has a Windows® based application that integrates multiple NVRs into a single virtual interface for remote viewing and management.
